The development
Lumina is a four-building, 261-suite rental community on Huron Road in Kitchener, Ontario — a sister project to Evoke, built for the same national family developer to the same window covering standard.
What we did
Every suite received open-roll roller shades fitted with Government of Canada–approved chain guards, so the chain stays secured to the wall and meets corded window covering safety requirements.
Bedrooms use a blackout opaque fabric for full room darkening. Living rooms and all common areas use a privacy light-filtering fabric that softens daylight while keeping the space bright.
Why it matters
Repeating a package that has already been installed and signed off is where the savings come from on a multi-building project: one product standard, one install sequence, and one supplier accountable for both communities.
